Beads of Courage Boxes

In 2015, the club agreed to participate in the AAW Beads of Courage Boxes project.  Club members turn boxes and contribute them to children who are patients at University of North Carolina hospitals. The children receive beads of courage when they undergo treatments and procedures and use the boxes to store their beads. Club member Bob Verne oversees the project.
