This was our second live woodturning demonstration at the Carrboro Farmer's Market on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 8:00am until Noon. Attendees were able to meet some of the club members and view some of their previously turned pieces. It was a gorgeous morning and our spinning tops were a huge hit! From 7am until noon we were in the spotlight as hundreds adults and kids filled the gazebo to see samples of our turnings, watch how tops are made and take turns coloring them. We saw many happy faces and a donation bucket full of coins and bills!! Lots of folks stopped to inquire about learning to turn and we expect to see some new students at our Friday and Saturday sessions.
