The Chapel Hill Woodturners turned out en masse for The Farm Holiday Craft Market this past Saturday. While the weather outside was drizzly and grey, we created the most colorful and well-attended display. Our lathes were turning tops, kids were coloring and spinning them, shoppers were buying up some wooden treasures and others were purchasing tickets for our raffle. Better weather would have brought more people and more sales... but, the event generated some income for the club and was a successful outreach into the community. Many people learned about CHWT for the first time and some recalled having their kids come to the shop years ago for a scouting event. There are so many people to thank for putting this together and donating hours of time before, during and after. It takes a lot of hands to turn an event like this into a success!
OUR CLUB THANKS Frank, Auman, Dale, Joe, Terry and his wife Abby, David, Mike, Bob V., Jim B, Martha, Roni, Jennifer, Indu, Lisa and Andy for the exceptional amount of time and teamwork that went into this event.
